Negative covid tests in-hand, Emily, Liam, Finn, Cormac, and Maeve drove up from Annapolis to Long Lake for their annual summer vacation. Emily and I went to high school together and while we’ve talked in the past about making a shoot happen, this year was finally the time. We had the most beautiful evening, if a little bright with the setting sun, starting off with the ‘dressiest’ clothes they had worn all week. Once I had sufficiently blinded everyone with the glare off the lake, the kids changed into their far-more-worn swimwear and the adults caught up over a glass of wine. I continued grabbing shots as we chatted, Finn and Cormac showing us their jumps off the dock and the fish they caught while Maeve insisted that I taste their freshly picked blueberries.
