Welcome to my new blog! This post is months overdue but I'm so excited to share it as the inaugural post on the new site.
You may remember Hannah & Ben's Christmas Eve wedding two years ago - they surprised their families with a small, intimate gathering at her mom's house Two years later I was asked by Hannah's mom, Patty, to photograph her own wedding to Paul, this time a few days after Christmas.
Patty and Paul skipped the surprise and had a beautiful winter ceremony at their church in Harpswell, Maine followed by a reception at the nearby Harpswell Inn. Surrounded by their grandchildren and supported by their children, the tears were flowing as they read their vows. Having known Patty and Hannah since I was young, it was so very special to see her so happy to be marrying Dr. Paul as he's known to the little ones. The church and inn were both still fully decorated for Christmas and though there was no snow on the ground, it was super cozy and warm.
Patty & Paul, words can't express how honored I was to be a part of your day. I felt so much like a guest it was easy to forget I was working! Your happiness is infectious and I'm sure you're basking in that newlywed bliss. Much love!
